Founded in 2012, 84EM is led by Andrew Miller, founder and principal software engineer, who has been writing code since 1995.

84EM works with larger digital agencies as their senior technical partner, and directly with enterprises, mid-market companies, and small businesses.

Client revenue ranges from $100K to $1B+ across numerous industries including financial services, education, e-commerce, healthcare, and the arts. What they have in common is a project that can’t afford to fail and the need for senior level expertise.

How 84EM Works.

Agencies bring 84EM in for their most technical work, either white label or as a named partner. When an 84EM project needs more capacity or a different skill set, those same agencies join as named partners. Everyone involved is known from shared client work, and nobody joins your project without your written consent.

Andrew is the point of contact and the accountable party, with no go-betweens, from the first intro meeting for as long as 84EM supports your business. Capacity and continuity covers who does the work, what happens during an absence, and the continuity terms 84EM will sign.

Andrew has spent his career building websites, apps, and more recently AI tools, all with the same aim of making his clients’ business lives easier.

Between client engagements, he gives talks at meetups and conferences – mostly on web development and on using AI for practical business work.

Away from work, Andrew spends time with his wife Rebecca and their rescue animals.
