A financial services company was preparing an exclusive early-access launch and needed to control who could sign up. Only users with valid access codes should be able to create accounts, and the system needed to preserve referral attribution across the entire onboarding journey.
Without controlled access, the launch risked being overrun by unauthorized signups. And without end-to-end referral tracking, the marketing team would lose visibility into which channels and partners were driving the most valuable early adopters.
Solution
84EM developed a waitlist and referral management system that validates access codes before allowing users to proceed. The system verifies codes in real time against authorized email addresses, ensuring only invited users can create accounts.
When users enter valid credentials, they are automatically guided to the appropriate onboarding flow with their referral information and product selections preserved. Information entered at any point in the journey carries forward, so users never re-enter details across multiple steps.
The team has full visibility into waitlist activity through built-in reporting, including redemption rates and which referral channels are performing best.
